Aruna stands for the color of the rising sun that provides positivity and warmth to the world. This is exactly the vision of a remarkable IAS, Ms. Sonal Goel. Project Aruna is about giving people happiness by distributing winter clothes, blankets, and children’s books to people living on the streets and in underprivileged areas. 

As we all are aware of the fact that many people die from getting exposed to the severe cold every year in India. As per the report of Statista, direct exposure to the cold caused 618 deaths in the year 2023. This is heartbreaking and sad. That is why, IAS Ms. Sonal Goel supported Sarva Hitam Manav Seva Sansthan to start the project Aruna for helping these homeless and underprivileged people by giving them your old winter clothes and blankets. We also promote education above everything by giving children’s books to underprivileged children. We go from street to street and slums to slums so that no one should suffer anymore. We work as a linking bridge between you, as a giver, and the recipients.
